A shout out to Teacher Blake

Thanks to Blake for the great training session October 29-Nov 1. These 4 day sessions have really been an excellent way to learn and reinforce concepts, ideas and forms.

I felt the group sword instruction provided insight into listening skill and also moving and adjusting for a partner or situation. Group applications were good for lots of ideas. Certain locks and push-pull applications seemed to be especially effective.

My private lessons were great for getting down and reinforcing concepts and movement in Xingyi and Taji Sword. Xingyi applications were also a highlight and seemed to click a lot more on the second session. 2-4 hour days back to back left me feeling strong and sharp. A great session.
