Class calisthenics
To everyone, here is the outline for the basic calisthenics we do in class:
Sit ups: up to 30 reps, hold 10 seconds on last repitition
Leg raises: up to 30 reps, hold 10 seconds on last repitition
Back raises: up to 30 reps, hold 10 seconds on last repitition
Tricep push ups: up to 30 reps, hold 10 seconds in lowered position on last repitition
Full body (Core) push ups: up to 30 reps. No hold on last repitition.
Back bends: if you can do a full back bend, do one rep and hold it for 20 seconds. If you can't do 10 reps against the wall.
Listen to your body. Do what you can with correct technique and alignment, don't sacrifice proper technique for number or reps. Also some days we can add more exercises into the mix once everyone is comfortable with the basic exercises.
